Upstairs is reached via a feature spiral stairway with granite treads. Kitchen has a range of wall and base units with a modern paint finish and granite work surface. The kitchen was renovated in 2021. The inset sink has a mixer tap with integrated hose. Stairway, with granite treads and modern industrial look metal work, leads off the living area to an upper landing.

Bedroom 1 is a suite of rooms. There is a double bedroom reached through a dressing room with wardrobes and a drawer unit. The ensuite bathroom has a bath, separate shower cubicle, vanity units, and wall-mounted toilet. One can sit in the bath and look at the snow-capped mountains over the orchards. The double bedroom is presently painted in a dark colour to enhance sleep and relaxation. The AC unit provides cooling or warmth and there is also a ceiling fan.

Bedroom 2 is also off the upper landing. This large room also has a ceiling fan and AC unit. The ensuite shower room has a shower cubicle and wall mounted toilet.

Sunroom / Study has extensive views front and back. The perfect place to catch winter sun, but also with enough opening windows to maximise the summer breeze. The aluminium windows were fitted in early 2023. Shade is provided by zebra blinds to 2 sides.

Upper terrace has extensive views too. There is space for a choice of seating options, presently a coffee table and chairs. The feature metal screens offer privacy, while the wooden beamed ceiling is below a tiled roof giving protection from sun or rain.

Bedroom 3 is a double room with ceiling fan, inverter AC unit, wardrobe and dressing table. It is reached from a private hallway off the downstairs hallway and shares a shower room with bedroom 4.

Bedroom 4 is currently dressed as a large twin room for children. In summer this room is naturally cool.

Shower room downstairs is large with toilet, basin, vanity unit and shower cubicle. It is off the private corridor which serves bedrooms 3 and 4. Toilet off the hall is ideal for guests. The electric water heater is on the wall of this room. Simply turn the valves here and upstairs to switch from solar power to instant electric-heated water.Windows were replaced in 2021 and have acoustic glass and double glazing in coated aluminium frames. The restriction of noise from outside is amazing. Where appropriate glazing is etched to offer both maximum light penetration and privacy. All windows have integrated insect screens.

Exterior

Gardens surround Villa Serenity and are enclosed by a high stone wall and a hedge of flowering oleander. The feature metal gate leads to the first of several seating areas. This one is ideal for relaxing in the evening sunshine and watching the sun set through the palm trees. Off this area is a shaded seating area and pedestrian access to the detached garage. To the rear of the villa is a swimming pool that measures 8m by 10m which is surrounded by a large tiled area with plenty of room for seating and loungers to catch the sun at any time of day. A tiled courtyard area has a stone-built barbecue and a large dining table. Further into the garden is a deck with jasmine growing over it, which benefits from an electric light and power sockets. An intimate shaded area under a sweet smelling jasmine completes the options for sitting in the mature garden.

Curving feature steps lead to the back door which is reached across a terrace. This area houses both a dining area and a relaxation area with low chairs and coffee table. There is a lovely cooling breeze here on most afternoons. Views across the pool and gardens to the distant mountains. There are several fruits trees giving crops of oranges, mandarins, lemons, pomegranates, figs and peaches.

Attached to the pool pump house is a separate area currently used for storage of garden furniture. Both these rooms have lighting and electric sockets. A garden sprinkler system and hoses work from ground water via an electric pump.

Garage

The garage has room for a car and storage on numerous shelves. The washing machine is plumbed into the garage.
Steps lead up to a small landing at the front of the house. The modern grey aluminium front door was fitted in 2022.
